Far away in the South Pacific a lone PBY-5A 'Catalina' and her nine man crew patrol for enemy shipping and as rescue for downed airmen. The 'Catalina', otherwise known as the 'Cat' was indispensable in all of theaters of war in the 1940s.
The Cat was used as a bomber, for patrol missions, search and rescue, anti-submarine missions as well as hauling cargo. Not needing land for runways and having an amazing endurance, the Cat was used extensively across the vast Pacific ocean where they could base in hidden coves on tiny atols.
